Goals for the Week

WOAH It's early...

Today I'm linking up with Erika from teandbaby , who will be guest blogging for me Tuesday, for goals for the week
This week my goals are simple...

Finish the last minute cleaning I need to do around the house, before my brother comes to house sit.

Pack our stuff for the beach. Yes it is the day of our trip and I haven't packed yet. This is extremely rare for me. I usually have a check list of what to pack and I haven't even made on this time. Here's to hoping I don't forget anything.

other goals include

Relaxation... No stress what so ever
Getting a tan
Finishing some more bracelet orders.
Having at least one date at the beach just me and the hubby.
and
Lots and Lots of family time!
I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

Goals

I have had some free time on my hands the past two days, while the little one naps, so what have I been doing? Finding new blogs to read. Confession: I am not a huge reader of other blogs. Yes, I know how horrible that is. I have a few that I follow and read all the time but other than that I'm just content to post on here and go about my day.
I am about to change that! Every week I will be posting (trying to post, cut me a little slack b/c I chase a 14 month old around all day) links to a few of my favorite new blogs.
I am really wanting to blog more frequently so I am trying to come up with fun ideas. Some new things to be looking for would be Meet me Monday and also my list of 101 things to do in 1001 days, and  Fill in the Blank Fridays. I will also be posting my favorite new recipes we have been/will be trying. If there is anything you guys would like to read about feel free to email me: Rachel21689@gmail.com. If anyone is ever interested in having a guest post slot let me know (via email). It's a good way to get new readers for your blog :)
Here is my first list of the three blogs I found this week that I think everyone should read:
Olivia is an amazing, strong, sweet, southern twenty-something. She is incredibly candid about her faith, love life, and battle with cancer. She paints a beautiful picture of her life no matter how flawed it may be. I feel like everyone should have the kind of courage she does. She is truly an inspiration.
I found Kelly's blog button while skimming pinterest. Right away I knew I had to read it. I mean if eat yourself skinny doesn't sound perfect I don't know what does. Kelly is a twenty-something foodie, with the cutest yorkie you will ever see. She is an extremely accomplished blogger. You know she's legit because the Doctor Oz show is asking her to be on a segment of their show. Pretty amazing. Three of the five meals I'll be cooking the next two weeks will be from her blog.
I found Lauren while reading some of Olivia's posts. She has some great reoccurring posts (which are always fun). She is married to her high school sweet heart and they recently had a precious little girl named Fern. I love that name! Her little family is precious and I really think everyone will enjoy the adventures she shares.

There are my first three. Everyone please check them out. The few sentences I have described them in can not do them justice. Keep an eye out for all my newness to come. I am excited about it, if you cant tell. First Fill in the Blank Friday coming in 2days...

Day Dreaming

I really shouldn't have too much time to myself because when I do this happens...

I start picking out our second house...
Which isn't all bad, we just cant buy one right this moment, so it's a little premature picking.
Today I found this fabulous 4bed 2bath home in the wonderful neighborhood of Southern Trace (or Highlands Trace as most people who live there would call it) in Leeds. When we do move, aside from building on family land, this is my (our) ideal spot.
Since I only work a few days a week, I am pretty much a stay at home mom. Living in Southern Trace would put us around a TON of friends. I would have lots of stay at home mom's to hang out with and Ephraim would have lots of buddies to play with. The neighborhood also has a pool which is a big plus.

A house like this would give us room to add one more little munchkin to the family and have a play room!

I just pray that when the time does come for us to actually purchase our first home that one as perfect as this will be available!
Psalm 37:4

I am so thankful for the house God has given us for right now, but if we don't dream what do we have to work towards?
