The Creative Exchange

I am very excited for today. It is finally link up day for the creative exchange. When I heard about this amazing idea I knew I had to participate. For those of you who have no clue what I'm talking about let me give you a little info:

The wonderful ladies of the Grant life, Covered in Mod Podge and Covered in Grace came up with this idea for bloggers to be paired with each other and swap a homemade gift or craft supplies.

 We emailed them letting them know we were interested, and once every one's name was in we were paired up with our partners....

I was partnered with Veronica from  Adventures of D and V. I really don't think they could have paired me with anyone better. I was excited when she told me her favorite room in her house was the kitchen. I have never made a craft for my own kitchen, but have always wanted to. I had the perfect thing in mind. While on our family vacation, I found the perfect silverware to get my craft started!

Here is what I started with:

A piece of scrapbook paper (with some of Veronica's favorite colors)

A old fork, knife and spoon from an antique shop in Georgia

Martha Stewart Pearl finish blue paint

Martha Stewart Satin finish grey paint

Some wooden letters

A shadow box

Glue 

and

Paint brushes

and here is the finished product:

I really hope Veronica will love it!

I can not wait to make one for my kitchen...
